It appears that since we set the home site https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/home-site-plan we don't see the promoted results on the search from the home site (communication hub). The promoted results appear on the search of all the other sites. The query rules were created in the SharePoint Administration.
Do you get the same behaviour? Do you think that the query rules will be deprecated?
