SharePoint "Person or Group" column limit.

Hi everyone,

The SharePoint list I has a Person or Group column, and Allow Multiple Choices is enabled.
I need to know what is the max number of users can be stored in a Person or Group column.
If you know, please contact me.

It pulls from your own Directory, so, how is your directory service and groups configured? how many users do you have? That would be your number

oh, and you do not "Store" anyone in the person or groups column. Its a lookup column and goes back to my first post

Hard Limit on SharePoint on-prem 2013 -> 2019 was 750, So should be the same here
