SharePoint Online: Show\Hide Nav Links

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to show/hide nav links based on the network a user is connected to? Basically, on our SharePoint portal site's front page we have some links to our internal on-premise sites and if you are not connected to our internal network you cannot view these sites. I was looking for a way to hide these links if the user is not connected to our internal network, instead of having the user click these items and receive a server error. Any assistance or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hi @aasmith

i think the only one to show/hide navigation links are Target Audiences, but i don't know it's possible for "connection" or not...let me know 😉

Here are more information about target audience:

Yeah, by default the only option to show/hide links in the site navigation is by means of audiences...something more advanced will require custom dev for sure
