SharePoint Online - SharePoint Designer 2013 workflow error

Copper Contributor

Greetings! We have SharePoint Online sites with SharePoint Designer 2013 workflows at our customers. A lot of our customers experiencing workflow errors now: the workflows just stopped working and if you try to start a new one manually, its Status remains "Not Started". All the running workflows have the same error:

System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: The request was canceled. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to fetch an access token from the token service. For details, see the inner exception. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

Are there any problems with the workflow engine? Is Microsoft aware of this issue?

Thank You!

I would recommend you to open a support ticket to understand what's happening. What's clear is that Microsoft has deprecated SPD 2013 Workflows:https://www.crowcanyon.com/blogs/sharepoint-2013-workflows-retirement/
