SharePoint Online Encoding Unknown in Text Editor

Hi,

I have several XML files with ISO-8859-1 encoding in a SharePoint Online library, when I open the file with the built in Text Editor I get a prompt saying:

Unknown encoding,
An unknown encoding was detected. The file will be converted to a different encoding if you save.

Saving the file will mess up the Swedish letters "åäö".

What encodings are allowed?

@Draax I am also facing the same encoding issue while editing file in sharepoint. Have you got any solution?
