SharePoint modern site search taking the Calendar events search to the classic list view

SharePoint modern site search taking the Calendar events search to the classic list view instead of modern view. When individual event is clicked it goes to the modern event page but when from search the links are accessed it's still going to classic page. Modern:

Can someone point-out how this can be addressed without reinventing the whole process.

@Sarah_Chun APologies for delay in reply, i had to build this feature using spfx app. Please let me know if there is anything else.
