Sharepoint list search problems

Hi Community,

I've noticed that search in one of my Sharepoint lists in works in a bit strange way - along with right items it also shows items that are completely irrelevant. I mean, I search for certain word and get some results that don't contain this word at all, in any of their columns (of course I've checked that).

Any ideas what I should do to find out what's wrong with such items or with the search itself? Why does it find unrelated items?

Hi @Tamara1980 - I wonder if it's holding on to something old, maybe try reindexing the List - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/crawl-site-content#reindex-a-document-library-or-a-list. Also, is there any chance that there are columns hidden from the allitems view that may contain those terms?
