SharePoint JSON Reference Material

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

I am new to SharePoint and JSON.  I am currently using JSON to do some formatting of Lists.  My biggest challenge is not knowing all of the allowed values for classes, attributes, etc.

I am after a comprehensive guide to be able to reference for these items.  I would have though Microsoft would have such a thing but I cannot find anything.

Does anyone know of such a guide or where would be the best place to start looking for one.

Thanks,

Micraf.

@Micraf You can find the Microsoft official documentation for JSON formatting at:

  1. Use column formatting to customize SharePoint
  2. Use view formatting to customize SharePoint

You can go to additional articles from above links using left menu on site:

Also, I will recommend you to visit this web page which lists all available CSS classes you can use in JSON formatting: SharePoint Online CSS Classes
