I have added a "guest" user via email to my MS Team. In doing so, I have shared a Sharepoint Folder with "Edit" permissions to that same "guest" user.
However, the user has limited functions. The Guest user cannot edit the document. Another example, the Guest user cannot "edit in gridview". The user can only upload and view documents.
Normal Guest users with a Office 365 account have no problems accessing and editing documents.
Does a user have to have Office 365 to access all functions? We want to work with external users on a shared Excel file without having to move the document.
