Sharepoint Groups within Groups

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about groups on SharePoint. Is it possible to create a group within a group? I have an overall area and then several teams in that area. I need some people to access the overall area and some people only to access specific teams. 

Alternatively, would it just be easier to set up specific teams as groups and then grant multiple access to the people that need to see the overall area?

Any advice greatly appreciated as always. :)

You can't nest a SharePoint Group within another SharePoint Group or an Office 365 Group within another Office 365 Group.

What you can do is nest an Active Directory or Azure AD group within either of the above objects
