I have been tasked with deduplicating accounts in our CRM 2011 instance (On Premise). It is linked to a Sharepoint instance for document storage. Merging the Accounts is the easy part. However, some of the Accounts to be merged have documents stored in Sharepoint. Is there a way to easily update these records so they link to the Account we are keeping?
I have full access to the backend database of both the CRM 2011 instance and the Sharepoint instance.
