In SharePoint 2016, I am using a SharePoint Designer 2013 Site Workflow. My workflow has an Assigned a task action and on completion of task next actions to be executed. But even after the manual approval of task, the workflow is not resuming and showing status as in progress.
As part of troubleshooting, I have tried below actions but no success:
a. Clear cache of timer job & restart it.
b. Reinstall SharePoint Designer.
c. In Task list settings, disable multiple selection for Assigned To field.
d. Check SharePoint Logs.
e. Check Workflow History List.
