I am currently testing on a Sharepoint SE installation and one thing
I have noticed, is that the News webpart has zero build in functionality? Things like content sources, types and filters are all missing, the only thing I have available is three different layouts?
My first thought was, "oh well that's On-prem for you", but then I find out that the Highlighted content webpart does in fact have these features, so clearly this is not a matter of this stuff just not working ON-prem, but a case of this being deliberately left out of the News webpart?
I get that MS want's everyone to move into the cloud, but this is ridiculous.
Or am I missing something here?
