Occasional Visitor

I have some external SharePoint sites that have a doc library for people outside the company to save/work on files. They use the Open with explorer option to open the doc library and drag and drop files etc. I have no control over there File Explorer settings so if they have the view hidden folders ticked they can see the hidden Forms folder and potentially delete items from this.

Is there a way to remove all permissions from this folder? It doesn't appear anywhere I can find on SharePoint to be able to change the settings. I can view the folder in SharePoint Designer but there doesn't seem to be a way to change permissions or use target audience settings.

What can be done to stop this folder being viewed by users when they open with explorer?

Thanks

@owain_baker 100% way to get this done is to disable Client Integrations at the Web Application level. This also disables other functions that may be desired through.

80% way to do this - hide the button in some way:

If you hide the button people will still be able to navigate from the perspective of another library or windows has the ability to map a drive to SharePoint URL.
