Share a folder to external user

Today, I found the Share/Manage access on a folder in Sharepoint documents was changed. 

Before, the external user will get a second mail with passcode to access the shared folder. But I cannot find where to set it when sharing the folder to the external user.

Hi @Yan_Chen_Sironax - external sharing settings are controlled from the SharePoint Admin Center. It could be that someone changed the settings to share with anonymous users, or stopped allowing external sharing from that site altogether. If you're a SharePoint Admin, you can use the following article. If not, you'll want to talk with your Admin.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I cannot find out the settings - enable/disable "verification code" on file sharing for specified external user, both in the file sharing and the SharePoint Admin Center. Then, I made some tests. I found the "verification code" for file sharing to external user is mandatory. It's good for me.
