I'm looking for advice on setting up a team site with document library in Sharepoint Online.
We have three different user types:
- Full access users
- Internal users (part of our O365 Org) that cannot access the site, but will receive links to individual documents
- External users that cannot access the site, but will receive links to individual documents
My goal is to make it impossible for staff to send files to anyone beyond the above 3 groups, but as convenient as possible to send within. Using the share option "people in ____ with the link" is working great for internal users. Is there a way to add external users/emails to our organization that would make these links work for them - without giving them access to anything else?
Or is there an alternate sharing method that is as convenient? The links gets passed along to various users and it would be ideal if everyone (including the external users) could open them but have them locked to strangers.
