Just today, only a few days out from New intranet go live we noticed the following.

Is anyone else seeing this.

 

SharePoint online Modern site, /sites/newintranet/

On home page, in navbar search box

Enter search term, click enter

Results from the site are a list of expected results (mostly from gooddocslibrary)

 

Go to the document library /sites/newintranet/gooddocslibrary/

in navbar search box

Enter search term, drop down list of 5 results that appears is correct

BUT 

when you click show more results the items which were 5 shown in drop down results list are 2 screens down the results page ????

 

All your suggestions / ideas gratefully accepted in helping us decide on how to explain this to our users if it exists at go live in a couple of days :(

OK - sorry about this post.

This morning - the top 5 results, are now the top 5 results after you click the "show more" button or run the search.

Not sure on the cause as the data and search  had all been in place for more than a week.

Sorry to bug everyone with this.
