Saving a sharepoint site as a template

I am trying to save a SharePoint site page as a template for my organization to use for repeat sites. However I have followed numerous guides on how to do this and the option to save my site as a template is not showing. Can anyone please provide me with assistance on how to fix this.

Save as template feature has been deprecated by Microsoft and you should avoid to use. What I recommend you instead is to take a look at Site Designs and also at PnP Templates:

PnP is a pretty good tool, there are a few things that it does not support but it's much cleaner than the the old template files.
