Row formatting

All I want to do is format alternating rows with a one color of my choice in a modern list view.  Is that available yet or does anyone have the json code to do so.  I have no conditional formatting; just  plain ole alternating rows to make the list easier to view. Thank you.

View formatting is for sure in targeted release...it might happen is not yet in production
