Hello together,

we are going to publish a SharePoint Website (on-premise) to the WWW via Microsoft Web Application Server / ADFS. Question, WAP is redirectiong the request to the ADFS login and the URL changes. Can this be avoided? We don't want to change the URL, we would like to have the whole request as one URL from the WAP. Many thanks in advance!

Sibylla,

You probably got it figured out by now, but for whatever it's worth....

If you going to hit the SharePoint farm, you'll have to be authenticated. I've deployed ADFS infrastructure with WAP servers. The WAP servers act as a reverse proxy, by first redirecting you to the ADFS systems to login. After you login, you should be redirected to the original destination specified.
