Problems with Project Sites Template

I created a new collection using the Project Site template. When I click on the Site Content link it shows the Modern page, the Quick Launch shows a link to the Pages library, which when click gives a "webpage cannot be found" error. The url is pointing to https://tenant.sharepoint.com/teams/test1/SitePages. A review of the site contents indicates that the SitePages library was not created.

Is anyone else seeing this same bug with Project Site templates?

is this a know issue with the "Modernization" of sites?

Hi @Dean Gross,

I just created a projectX at https://mytenant.sharepoint.com/sites/projectx and I then clicked on the Pages link.

And I'm gettting the same behaviour as you have found. 

The welcome page is:

https://mytenant.sharepoint.com/sites/projectx/default.aspx

So it's not a a pages Library.

It does look like the site templates are being attacked at the moment.  See also:
