PNP Search Result display

Hi all,

The display almost works, but when I click on the item it downloads a file. What do I've to do so that it goes directly to the list element instead of downloading a file and what file is it?

sure? With my default configuration with PnP Modern Search Web Parts  V4.8.0 https://microsoft-search.github.io/pnp-modern-search/ documents open in web, not downloading.

When it's not like what you need, you can use a custom search display template, as example:

Thanks a lot for your response. Yes, I am sure, it downloads the mentioned file instead of redirecting. Another issue is also if I search after J* then it should show all items which starts with J but it doesn't somehow its random.

which type of documents will be downloaded?

Have you PrintScreen and more informations about your behaviour in your suffix wildcard search?
