Permission option not visible in Sharepoint list

I am trying to setup row level security in a list that i created in sharepoint. However, I do not see any option. It should typically appear between content types and attachments.

@rahrah I can see item level permissions on SharePoint lists in our tenant. Is this issue specific to this list or all lists in your SharePoint site?

How you have created this list, manually/programmatically/migration? Which list template used to create this list?

Seems like a odd template was used like ganeshsanap was saying. Do you have site owner permissions where this list is contained?
