People\Group Column

Copper Contributor

In a list I want to be able to get a users manager (which is added to a users profile BTW) - for things like approval workflow etc. I have tried using the people\groups column but this seem to have that information.  Any thoughts as to how solve this problem

Hi,
you can use Power Automate. The Office 365-User connector has the action "Get Manager".
When you run it for example with the trigger "When an element is created" and make the people field a must-field, then you can feed the action with the email-adress from the person column, get the manager and populate another people column with the managers email adress.
Thank you. Are there any connectors that get other Azure AD user attributes that the People\Group column doesn't access?
