Overview of shared content on sharepoint site

Copper Contributor

Heya

How can i get a comprehensive overview of all shared content on my site? Onedrive gives me what i have shared, but seemingly only from my own files.

Is this even possible?

Hello @FrodeBK

with my site you mean OneDrive, right? My site is a per person store in SharePoint OnPremises, it is stored on SharePoint. Same in M365, OneDrive is the personal store in the M365 and it ist stored in SharePoint. You can sync it with the OneDrive sync client to local, see more informations here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/onedrive-overview?WT.mc_id=DX-MVP-5004845

It's a default report available: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sharing-reports?WT.mc_id=DX-MVP-5004845

You can also use SharePoint Premium Data Access Governance (DAG) for more reports about sharing links: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sharepoint-premium-blog/introducing-sharepoint-premium-the-fu...

Or you can use Third-Party Tools for deeper analytics informations.

Best, Dave

@DaveMehr365 thanks for your reply, i did actually mean a sharepoint team-site, i realise the ambiguity when i said my site...  However, your tip was exactly what i was looking for so my problem is sorted!

Thanks!
