Out of the box customization of New form in SharePoint on-premise 2019

Hello,

 

I faced an issue with SharePoint list in on-premises.

The thing is that we have several Competencies with different levels.

Each Level is a multi-choice column. We also created different views for all competencies (with their own columns).

 

But

 

Once the user click on New button to add only 1 competency, they see the whole columns pf all views.

 

Is there a way to OOTB customize the New form in SharePoint List (on-prem)?

So that once the user is on the view of the particular competency and clicks on New, they will see fields which belongs to that exact competency?

And once they switch to the other view and click on New, they will be able to see other fields there (which belongs to that competency).

@Khristina1 Using SharePoint OOTB capabilities, you cannot show/hide column based on currently selected list view.

 

However, you can use multiple content types in list and show the columns specific to particular content type on list form.
