Hello,
we are faced to the Problem, that search alerts won´t work. We receive the confirmation email for the alert.
But we receive no alert mail about any modification of the search result.
Are there any missing configuration steps?

Since you were able to subscribe for the alert your basic configuration (outgoing e-mail and Search Service Application Alerts configuration) sounds correct. Have you checked other types of Alerts (changes in lists for example) to see if their notifications are sent? Have you checked your Event Viewer / ULS logs for errors?

Hello Paul,
"normal" alerts for example changes in lists were sent.
Just the alerts for the search will not be delivered.
I think we have to check the uls logs.
