No Longer Can Import Excel Report As List

I have an important report that comes to me in Excel but I import as a list into Sharepoint (Add App> Import Spreadheet).  I have to use IE - Chrome nor Edge work as they complain of no ActiveX.  I need it as a list for searchability, subtotals, etc.  But now IE has been officially killed, I cannot import the Excel report and am left high and dry.  Any suggestions?

@bookpub1969 Make sure the list is defaults to modern.  Then you should be able to export in a modern browser. 

If your list is in classic view, you can set it to modern by going into the list settings, selecting advanced, and copying the List Experience to new experience.
