Is there a limitation regarding the number of News Post which we could add in the News web part?

@NesreenSaleh the news web part can display a maximum of 12 posts.

@NesreenSaleh You can add any number of news posts in your site. However, you can only show/display few news in "News" web part. No. of news you can show depends on the layout you are using for news web part.

For example: 

1. List layout: maximum 8 news
2. Tiles layout: maximum 5 news
3. Side-by-side layout:  maximum 12 news

You can find this limitation in news web part settings itself as given below:
