Hi all,
Is it supported to add more than 10 lookup fields to a document library in SharePoint Online? According to my understanding, it should be ok to add dozens of lookup fields to any library as long as the number of lookup fields in the views in the library and queries are limited to 12.
Reason for this question is that the OOB news web part stops working if you add 10 or more lookup fields (i.e. lookup, people or metadata field) to the Site Pages library. If you publish a news link, the OOB news web part will stop working if data source is set to 'This site' and if there are 10+ lookup fields added to Site Pages. The same thing happens if you publish a news article where 'Author Byline' is set to blank value (i.e. you remove author in the site header).
Is this a bug in the news web part specifically or is there a not yet documented limitation that you can only add a maximum of 10 lookup fields to the 'Site Pages' library?
