Bear in mind that Modern Team Sites are being deployed to First Release so there is still stuff that has to be fixed...bear also in mind that new webparts are built using the new SharePoint Dev. Framework that it's still in preview

Hi Mickaël GESLIN,

First of all thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide more details on what you were trying to do? Did you create a modern page in a publishing site and tried to add a News web part to that page?

The main scenario for News currently is surfacing them on team sites and specifically the new homepage for groups team sites that was shipped recently. On the homepage News web part will show up by default.

That being said, the screenshot below looks bad and I'd like to understand the steps that got you into this state so we can fix this.

1- I created a team site on a publishing site (Collection site with Publishing site Model). Then I created a new type of "site page"

2- I created a new site collection with Team site Model

If i create a Office Group, the webpart News works.

Thanks for the details! We identified the issue and working on a fix. I'll update the thread once the fix is deployed.

I have error when i click to "Display all" of the Webpart News

@Alina Skarbovsky Ok, i create a new page in old team site. Indeed, it works on new sites. Thx

We are fixing the bug in classic team sites too. Will update the thread when the fix rolls out.

I can't integrate an office mix video into the new page

Sorry for the delay on this. Adding some folks that might be able to help @John Sanders, @Anton Labunets, @Steve Zhang

Hi Mickaël, Which web part are you using to embed mix video into the page? Content Embed webpart should be the right web part to use. And it can support mix video well. Just copy and past mix video URL into it and it can load the video. There is an additional step you need to take which is add office.com into the whitelist of your site to confirm you understand the risk of import external content into the page and agree to take the risk. Please reference the following link to set the whitelist through HTML Field Security in the site setting.

And what about embeding more complex stuff such us custom HTML? Is Content Embed WebPart ready for this requirement? From my tests and other users' test is not

No, complex HTML markup is not supported. It's due to the concern about cross site attack. So only iframe is supported inside content ember webpart

I was aware of that concern...so what are your plans to replace Old and Good Content Editor WebPart and Script Editor WebPart in the new Framework?

Thank you very much, this works when I add office.com in HTML Field Security.

We do understand the need. We are trying to figure out the proper way to do it in the new framework.

It's possible to display a documents library into new page?

Currently we don't have a document library web part that can be added to the modern pages. It is in the works and @Lincoln DeMaris might be able to share more details.

In the meanwhile, depending on the scenario, you might want to use the Highlighted Content web part that allows you to specify a query and surface documents that match.

If you want to avoid this issue altogether for the moment, create your pages using "old style, also known as Wiki Page. Instead of adding a page by clicking Add a Page, go to Site Contents > Site Pages > New and make sure to select Wiki Page. This way you will be able to add all the web parts like you did before!
