I have been trying to use the news digest from our main hub site to replace a weekly email we've sent for many years to all our staff. I can select the news from the associated sites with no problem. But I wanted to add another news item. So as the page had said it was saved I closed it and added the new news item on the associated site which appeared after a few minutes. No problem there. But I cannot now go and edit the page or change any of the recipients, there's just no option there to do so. So I have to delete the page and start again :(
There there's the branding issue: Microsoft, we do not want your logo or the SharePoint logo on our news digest and I can't understand why anyone thought that was a good idea in a non-Microsoft company. It's not all about you. I've added my vote to the uservoice site for custom branding. So far the news digest is a promising feature but is currently spectactularly under-developed and not ready for serious live use.
