New Image tools on Modern Sites - Slows Pages

Hi,

I have started using the new tools added to the images webpart to crop the images. But I have found that when I use these it can take up to 1 minute for the image to load on the page.

Has anybody else had this problem?

I've had it go very slow before too, I think if images are over a certain size it does this. It's a little clunky at times.
