I try to find out more about Set-SPOSiteScript (or Set-PnPSiteScript). I used the command to update a previous site script. If I create new sites from a template with that script the site is prepared with all the updated activities in the script. So for new sites it's fine.
Based on the description at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/sharepoint-online/set-spositescript a new version of the script should update any site designs referencing to the script. My existing sites with the template are not updated. I uploaded the scripts with a new version, the script ID is still the same, and the template is referenced to the script. My question is how long does the update need to be published to existing sites? Or is an action from the site owner required? Or do I something wrong with the script update?
