Modern Pages Comments and Permissions

Hi all,

For people to add comments to a page, do they need contribute permissions to that page? I'd like to use comments on more of our sites but I don't want the users to be able to edit the page itself?

No, they don't. A user with Read permissions can post comments on pages

Hi Juan, Do you know how a user can edit his or her own comment? i cant find the option.
