Hi Everyone, I am looking for clarification on the Modern Hub site navigation user experience and want to understand if there is any option to override the behavior of opening the link in same/new tab.
- In Communication based hub site (SITEPAGEPUBLISHING#0), When we have a vanity URL/External URL configured in the navigation link as target – It is being opened in new Tab irrespective of the navigation menu level
- In Team based hub site (Group#0),
- First level navigation link is opening in same tab irrespective of the same SharePoint/External/Vanity URL
- Second level navigation link is opening in new tab if any External/Vanity URL
Can you please let us know if this behavior of opening links in new tab/same tab and the UI can be controlled.
