My SP Online recently converted to modern-look document sets.

I have a document library containing multiple document sets. Each document set has unique custom metadata columns. Can I configure filters at the document-set level? So far I can configure only at the library level. I thought I read way back that I'd be able to make doc-set filters...

The reason I ask is because I want to isolate the custom metadata filter to only the doc set containing that metadata. Thus, doc-set A filters on doc-set-A metadata; doc-set B filters on doc-set-B metadata, etc. A library-level filter would create a union of A and B metadata and it would be a mess for the user to filter on metadata that doesn't apply.
