Hi folks,

do you have any idea how to move sites from SP2019 to SP Online?

- The migration tool only supports SP versions till 2016.
- On the Roadmap, there is no information about when or if the migration tool  will support 2019

- The Powershell doesn't contain the SP SiteRestore command to restore a collection.
- The hybrid mode seems not to be the same as it is on exchange where you can move a mailbox to exchange online...

So, what to do, to migrate to SP Online from 2019?

Manually isn't an option for us because our sites and lists are to big.

Would interesting is you have any ideas.

Best regards

Sebastian

You have to use a third party migration tool

@SebastianLehmann You can use external migration tools for migrating from SP 2019 to SP online. Check below migration tools which might help you:

  1. ShareGate
  2. Metalogix
