Microsoft Lists


Hello Team, I would like to confirm if an external user can be added to a List created in Microsoft Lists or if only users that have SharePoint could use this Feature. Thanks.

The answer is yes, so long as the list resides in a space that allows external sharing. Lists are stored in SharePoint - so one would share at the site (or Teams team) level to invite the guest in. And for "personal lists", ones stored in a user's personal storage in Microsoft 365, could be shared externally so long as the SharePoint admin has enabled external sharing for OneDrive - since we work off the same sharing mechanism for OneDrive files as we do for personal lists.
