Microsoft Lists - Filtering when using the choice field with multiple selections

Hello, 

I am using Microsoft Lists as a digital library of links to learning resources. One of my columns is "tags" and it's a choice field that allows multiple selections. Each item I add to the list is tagged with several labels. 

However, when a user wants to filter based on individual labels, they can't because if more than one label is assigned to the item, the labels are put into a string format. Here's a mock list I prepared as an example:

How can I change this? Is it possible at all?

@Beatrice_FP I have the same issue.  It works fine as the SharePoint user setting up the list.  but when I use sharing links to allow others to access the list, it does not work.
