Hi, what is wrong with the menus in SharePoint? The changes only show on the computer I am using for editing the menu. This is the case for both "website menus" as well as hub site menus. It has been days since I made the updates and the client has deleted all cookies etc. I have even tried looking at the menu in the SharePoint-app on my iPhone, but I see the same as the client, ie the old version. Any ideas?

@Alireza Rahimifarid I found out what the issue was. I was using another language in my browser, so all the updates could only be seen by those using the same language. I didn't know that.

Hi @Alireza Rahimifarid I'm running into the exact same issue but the solution from above doesn't work for me because I am not using another language. Any other troubleshooting tips?

we have the same problem with SharePoint Online hub menu, it doesn't update for any users sessions except admin session who made the change. Only if users manually delete browsers cookies and site data, they can see the change. It seems like bug on SharePoint Online hub menu, because normally it should update only with page refresh for any user?
Do we have any SharePoint Online representatives here to explain the issue and give us any solution?

Microsoft just ran some generic "diagnostic" scripts, which didn't help. I had made the changes on a Thursday night, and by Monday everyone could see them.
I had a few users only clear their "cookies and other site data" (Chrome) from just the last hour and that seemed to work, though I wasn't going to have the entire company do that.
In the meantime, I used this cool site redirect trick, using the News web part. Basically, you create a news web part somewhere on the old site, with a news link to the new site. Then set that news link as the homepage for the old site. As soon as someone hits the old site, they're immediately redirected to the new. (This, of course, only works for the home page.)

@HelenaStarenby I discovered the same problem in a SP hub site navigation and associated sites. Many employees reported that the updated menu items were not visible until after they cleared their cache. I don't recall having this problem until a few days ago, when I turned on Audience Targeting for that menu -- and had applied targeting for the submenu where items were not refreshing. I turned off Audience Targeting for that hub site navigation, and everyone reported the submenu refreshed and they could see all the current items listed. So I have a feeling this might have something to do (at least in part) with Audience Targeting applied to hub site navigation menus. I hope this report helps any of you who are experiencing this frustration.

I am having the same issue. Either you clear the cookies or click the top right gear -> change the look -> Header -> select any other Layout -> save -> hard refresh the page.
But this is not a practical solution, just my browser is showing the updated changes after this, rest of the company is getting the older version.. This is weird!

We just did a brand change announcement last night. Everything's been switched over, but our old logo is still there in the hub menu throughout our intranet. Makes me, IT, and SharePoint (Microsoft) look bad. I had to admit to an executive that it's a downside of having this hosted at Microsoft.
I do not understand how these updates can't be made more immediate. It's more than just "nice to have" menu changes.

Go to your site and select Settings, then select Site information. At the bottom, select View all site settings
Under the Look and Feel heading, select Navigation.
Scroll to the Structural Navigation: Refresh Cache section and click Refresh.

@ChrisAru Thanks for sharing this tip. It's good to know we can force a navigation cache refresh.
I still think MS should make this refresh automatic whenever someone changes a hub menu that uses audience targeting. Why should we be required to do this manually? (That question is not aimed at you -- just a rhetorical question, aimed at MS.)
