Lock file NOT office in sharepoint

Hi,

I have a SharePoint 2016 On-Premise, (V. 16.0.10337.12109).

With files not Office, we want to when an user open file SharePoint lock this file for other user edit this file. And when user closes that file, unlock automatic.

It's possible?

Pd.- I try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters\SupportLocking and Doesn't work.
