Woke up this morning with a shock, seems MS has rolled out some changes to lists embedded on a page with a view that has listview formatting. Now the filters applied are being shown, which really detracts for making a good-looking intranet experience. Not sure why MS is driving this agenda to make out of the box functionality so horrible.
Here is what it looks like. Why SP team, why?
Also, if you use the 3 column layout, the text MS inject about the filters is cut-off.
Does anyone know how to hide these filters. I hope this was an update mistake by the SP team and this will be rolled back.
Update 12 September 2024:
1. Visitors wont see the filters (make sense), but members and owners will always see filters.
2. Gallery view you wont see the filters, regardless of your role.
3. Consistency is horrible here.
