Lists - New Templates - Due Date

Playing with the new List Templates - and for the life of me I cannot figure out how the Due Dates or Start date formatting is done - am I missing something really simple!

@CalvinOrr2165 clcik the gear in the top right, click on List Settings. Select the Start Date or Due Date column and change the display format from friendly to standard.

Sorry - I wasn't being very clear - I want to know how it calculates it? I can't see any calculated field etc - is it power automate?

@CalvinOrr2165 no, it's not Power Automate or a calculated column, it's built into SharePoint.
