Linking document libraries between sites and filtering

Hello,

We have Main Teamsite (whole company) and and Archive Site (select staff)...

On the Archive Site, we have a Photo Archive library with the one of the fields being "Favorite"

Is there a way to have a document/photo library on the Main Teamsite that will only display photos if Favorite is set to Yes?

(We don't want the whole staff to be able to see the whole archive, but only select images that are marked favorite, but we also don't want to copy them over to another site/folder each time if that can be avoided).

Without some development I'm afraid it's not possible...an alternative might be (not tested) to use any of the WebParts that allows you to indicate a site where to get information
