Linking a document library file/folder to another document library?

Good day,

Here is the scenario. I have a main document library which already has documents in it. I have another document library with the supporting documents which I want to link to the main document library with a link, is there any other way I can do this aside from copy-pasting the link from one library to another?

Please help it's urgent.

Hi, I guess you could put the link into the top navigation bar, and enable audience targeting so only the appropriate people can see it.

If these are supporting documents however, would they not work better if moved to the same document library?  Perhaps as a sub-folder?

@Roxy_DS_Shenton If the documents belong together then they belong in one single library. 

There is no good way to reliably connect things as you've described. Sure you could put a ton of links in one library to the other library, but it's alot of work AND if someone does anything to the linked documents - like move or rename them - the links will no longer work.

Just move the documents and direct the users to the new single location.
