Hi,

I just wanted to run this by you guys for a bit of a sanity check.  I have been developing a list for a customer that uses JSON column formatting.  Some of the columns reference others for example a fields background will change depending on the value of another field.  Some of the reference columns are calculated and I don't want them visible in the view.  So I've hidden them, no problem the backgrounds of the other fields still change.  Great.

So I've now implemented the list onto the customer site and I noticed that some of the background colours weren't changing.  To get them to work I've had to unhide the reference columns, doing a bit of searching I can see that this is normal behaviour (not sure why I've never come across it before).

So my question is why is it working OK on my tenant, the only difference is that this tenant is on the targeted release ring.  I've had a look on the roadmap and I can't see this specific mentioned but maybe its hidden in the new "Lists" rollout.

If someone has a spare 5 mins and are on the targeted release ring could you give it a go and see if you can reproduce my results?

Thanks

Rob
