I have created a document library with multiple columns (site columns) that use managed metadata created in the term store, which all works fine in the site that the library and term store were created in initially.
When I export the STP for this site (it is a hub site) and import it into a "satellite" site the columns all appear and the metadata choices appear from the term store when I start typing but when I try to save I get an error "Value does not fall within the expected range". I can edit the columns in the satellite site but they aren't re-created as "site columns" - is this the issue?
What I'm trying to achieve is a common library template to be used across multiple sites with columns based on managed metadata created on a hub site.
Am I trying to do something that isn't possible?
