Is it possible to disable required checkout in an individual file in a document library?

Hi,

I currently have a document library in SharePoint Online that has Required Check Out checked:

All files in the document library will require a check out if they need to be edited. Is there a way to set an individual file to not require a check out when editing?

@JasonYeung AFAIK you can't as it configured at the library level. But let's ask @Juan Carlos González Martín

Unfortunately as Christian has well described, it's not possible to configure checkout at the document level, it's a setting at the document library level

No, it's not possible to restrict Check out for document level. You are only able to enable/disable Check out for the document library using require Check out option in library settings. However, configure check-out to your files and enjoy standalone editing environment by referring the below blog.
