How to set SharePoint 2019 Doc Lib mandatory comments when checking in a document from Word?

Hi,

One common ask for many clients is to have a mandatory comments when checking in due to Quality control.

Clients mostly use Word App to make changes, but when checkin in the comments aren't mandatory.

Does anyone ever got this working?
